WELCOME
The implementation of the Ticket to Work and Work
Incentives Improvement Act of 1999 is underway across the United
States. To assist programs in our region with the challenges associated
with this roll-out, the Great Lakes RCEP has collected materials related to this
piece of legislation. In addition, the Great Lakes RCEP also provides a forum
for the Great Lakes Ticket to Work Workgroup.

The TWWIIA National Training
Project Advisory Committee in conjunction with the Rehabilitation Services
Administration, the Social Security Administration and the Center for Continuing
Education in Rehabilitation at Western Washington University developed and
presented a national forum on March 12-14, 2001 in Seattle to assist with
training and the realization of the Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency Program
established under the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act, also
