An overview of the pieces of The Ticket to Work legislation as presented at JETT-CON 2001 by representatives of the Social Security Administration.


The Ticket to Work Conference - March 2001

The TWWIIA National Training Project Advisory Committee in conjunction with the Rehabilitation Services Administration, the Social Security Administration and the Center for Continuing Education in Rehabilitation at Western Washington University developed and presented a national forum on March 12-14, 2001 in Seattle to assist with training and the realization of the Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency Program established under the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act, also known as TWWIIA.  With the kind permission of the Region X RRCEP director, material presented at that conference is posted here.


To Ticket or Not to Ticket

On June 20, 2001, the Region V RRCEP with RSA hosted the Region V Ticket to Work Workgroup in Chicago, IL.  Amy Porter, Project Director for the Connect to Work Project of the Connecticut Bureau of Rehabilitation Services and Peter Baird, Work Incentives Director for the Vermont Division of Vocational Rehabilitation presented their experiences under the Ticket to Work legislation.  With their kind permission, their presentation is posted here.


The Ticket to Work and Medicaid Buy-In
